As much architecture as your space needs.

Architect Lucie Najvarová

Every space deserves architectural thinking.
I’m Lucie, an architect. I help people think through specific questions about their space. This can involve uncertainty about a floor plan, changes to an apartment or house, planning a renovation, or simply checking whether their idea makes spatial sense.

I offer consultations and design proposals that help to make decisions with more confidence and to make better use of the potential of existing space.

At what stage of your project can we meet

The project is just beginning.

You may be considering buying an apartment or house, or thinking about changing your living situation in the future and want to make decisions with a clearer overview. At this stage, I can help you understand the spatial possibilities before decisions become fixed.

You have an empty space.

You already have the apartment or house, but the space is still waiting to be organised. Together we work with the floor plan, proportions and relationships between rooms so that the space functions naturally over the long term.

You want to transform an existing space.

You may want to change the space, develop it further or give it a clearer concept. This can involve small adjustments as well as more substantial changes to the layout or the use of interior and exterior spaces.

Consultation

A consultation is helpful when you want to discuss a specific question or gain clarity about possible next steps. It can relate to the layout of an apartment or house, ideas for renovation, or working with a smaller or atypical space. The consultation helps clarify the situation, review decisions and define the next steps.

The consultation takes place online — an in-person meeting is possible by agreement.

Design

The design is based on a specific situation and a clearly defined brief and leads to a thoughtful spatial solution, from adjustments to individual parts of an apartment to the design of an entire space. It is suitable when you want to significantly transform a space, change its layout or rethink its spatial logic and are looking for a solution that can guide the next stages of implementation.

The scope of the design is defined individually.

Kitchen in an attic apartment

Every space has its own logic, from apartments and houses to attics and unusual layouts. Everyday use and small decisions play a key role in shaping how a space works.

Balconies, terraces and gardens are part of living. I work with them as an extension of the living space, one that can significantly influence everyday life in an apartment or house.

I work with what already exists, with spaces that can gradually change and evolve. Together we look for solutions that respond to the specific place, the right moment and the appropriate scale of intervention.
As much architecture as needed.

I am an architect originally from the Czech Republic, now based in Vienna.

In my work I combine architectural practice with a consultative approach. I see architecture as a dialogue, a shared way of thinking about space, its possibilities and how it can evolve over time.

I focus primarily on existing spaces and thoughtful interventions. Working with what is already there, and allowing spaces to transform gradually, feels to me like a natural and responsible way of developing architecture further.

I work between the Czech and Austrian contexts and offer consultations in Czech, German and English.

Since 2020, I have been a member of the Czech Chamber of Architects.

I look forward to working together.
